This was a commissioned piece for Laura and Sam Adams of Crab Orchard, Kentucky. The work features the lovely daughter of Laura and Sam, Miss Alice Adams, and company on the lawn of their country home. Alice is very active in Pony Club and has hunted with her parents who are active members of both Iroquois Hunt Club and Woodford Hounds.
